About us
From a student’s idea to a green startup
Ten years chasing one belief: waste can become value.

The name
Pando, a forest from a single root
The Pando aspen colony in Utah (USA) is the largest and oldest living organism: a whole forest growing from one root system. "Eco" means ecology, "Tech" means technology, and where they meet is recycling farm by-products into useful things. Not one person, but a whole community growing together.
Regenerative technology from nature, growing with the community

Our history
Ten years, five chapters

2015 - 2019
A green idea takes root
Phạm Mạnh Đình began working on turning plastic waste into building material while still in high school, and kept developing it at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education.

2020 - 2021
Pando is founded
Pando JSC opens in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing bricks and roof tiles of recycled plastic and sand to market, and wins "Best Student Entrepreneur" at Startup Wheel.

2021 - 2022
More research, more products
Pando develops packaging and new recycled materials and launches a coaster of recycled plastic and coffee grounds. In 2021, unconvinced plastic was green enough, it pauses production to focus on research.

2022 - 2024
Industrial-scale partnerships
With the Southern Seafood Research Institute, the Ben Tre Department of Science and Technology and Dai Hung Anh Co., Pando turns shrimp-farm tarpaulins and sand into paving bricks, donated to Tam Phuoc Kindergarten’s garden.

2025
Pando Ecotech is born
After four years of research, Pando launches a new formula: 60% coffee grounds, 30% bagasse, no plastic and no hot extrusion. From coffee, cane, tea, straw and rice husk come coasters, furniture and wall tiles.
The Pando way
Creativity from Vietnamese farm by-products
"The Pando way" blends creative thinking, a sustainable mindset and faith in Vietnamese produce. Coffee grounds, tea leaves and bagasse are not waste, but a resource that can be reborn.
